Artwork Tuesday - Hebrew Wallpapers

First of all: thank you to all my readers. Today I celebrate a thousand hits, in over fifty countries! And in such a short amount of time too!

So to celebrate this momentous occasion; on the first Tuesday of every month from now on, I will post some artwork, something that I have made either on the computer or by hand.

Not many people know this, but I've had a bit of work as an amateur graphics artist, and I'm always making new artwork in my spare time. I specialise in abstract work, especially digital art.

For my very first Artwork Tuesday, I'd like to share with you some wallpapers I made for my desktop.

I simply take a word, translate it into another language (In this case; Hebrew) and I overlay it onto a background image.

The first one says "Arise". I got my inspiration from Isaiah 60:1: "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."

This one literally has my name written on it, or the Hebrew translation of my name anyway. It says "Fire of the Lord", but it can also be read as "Josiah".

This third one says "Saviour". I took inspiration from Worth Dying For's Saviour.

Feel free to download these images, edit them up, or make your own. My only request is that you don't claim them as your own.

One special thing about Artwork Tuesday is that if you like the concept, but you're not sure how to do it yourself, if you'd like me to make one specially for you; send me an e-mail at fireofthelord@live.com or comment on this post, and I'd be more than happy to make one for you.

This concept works in any language, but it looks great with non-Latin characters I think. I've also used Japanese and Chinese before, but Hebrew is really special to me personally.
